Established in 1960, they were founded with the vision and mission of providing high-quality healthcare to the local communities. Operating as a Public Hospital District, they maintain Critical Access Hospital status, along with Level V Trauma Center and Level III Cardiac and Stroke Center designations. Their primary service areas include Dayton, Waitsburg, Starbuck, and the surrounding regions.Their Rural Health Clinics are ready to address your primary care and behavioral health needs.

These clinics offer a comprehensive Rehabilitation Department, which includes services such as Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Aquatic Therapy, Acupuncture, and Respiratory Therapy. Additionally, they hold the distinction of being the Region's Most Advanced Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center. Their clinics are staffed with two primary care medical doctors, a board-certified pediatrician, and four nurse practitioners and physician associate providers. Likewise, the Emergency Department is equipped with board-certified emergency medicine doctors, emergency medicine nurse practitioners, and physician associate providers.

My mom went in tonight for a migraine with severe nausea and vertigo. The nurse Stephanie, as well as the practitioner nurse and front desk were helpful and speedy to get her better. Just wanted to give a personal thank you for the help and I'm so glad my mom is feeling better to get a good night's sleep, I hate seeing her suffer. I was worried there wouldn't be anything they could do but I was proved wrong. Thank you again, it means so much to me 💙
