Patient Question

Hello Doctor,

I’ve noticed small pink dots on my testicles, and I’m not sure what they are. When I looked it up, it mentioned ingrown hairs, but I just want to be sure. Could this be something else? Should I be worried or get it checked?

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to Dr. Galen. Please find the below response to your query.

If the pink dots are not causing any pain, itching, swelling, or other discomfort, they could simply be ingrown hairs, irritation, or harmless skin variations. This is quite common and usually nothing to worry about. However, if they start to grow, change in appearance, become painful, or persist for a long time, it would be best to get them checked by a doctor to rule out any underlying skin conditions or infections.

Thanks
